| This pictograph is a small version of the central shaman in the Triad scene, also in Fate Bell Shelter. It, like the prototype, has square wings, feather motifs pendant from its wings, an antler headdress, animal ears, a different colored panel on its torso, and unusual shoulder protrusions. Although most shamans stand on human or animal legs, truncations such as this are not that unusual. One set of three such truncated shamans was interpreted as a series of longhorn skulls by one early investigator. |
